Privacy policy
Last updated: 24 July 2026
This policy explains what personal data free-games.social collects, why, and what you can do about it.
Who is responsible for your data
free-games.social is operated by Free Games sp. z o.o., registered in Poland at Storrady Świętosławy Street 1/501, 71-602 Szczecin, Poland.
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation we are the "controller" of the data described below. We have appointed a Data Protection Officer, who is the person to contact about anything in this policy:
Data Protection Officer
Free Games sp. z o.o.
Storrady Świętosławy Street 1/501, 71-602 Szczecin, Poland
dpo@free-games.social
What we collect
- Server logs. Our host records your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. This happens automatically for every website and is used to keep the site running and secure.
- Analytics. We do not use analytics. No tracking script runs on this site.
- Email. If you write to us, we keep your message and address so we can reply.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect payment details. The games linked from this site are operated by their own publishers, who handle any data you give them under their own policies.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and uses no local storage or tracking pixels. There is nothing for you to accept or refuse. Our cookies policy covers this in more detail.
Why we are allowed to process it
Under GDPR Article 6, our legal bases are:
- Legitimate interests — keeping the site available, secure and working, and replying to messages you send us.
- Consent — for any analytics or cookies that are not strictly necessary. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who else sees it
- Our hosting provider, OVHcloud (OVH SAS), whose servers in Poland store the site and its logs.
- Google Fonts. This site currently loads fonts from Google's servers, which means your IP address is sent to Google when a page loads. If you would rather avoid that, the fonts can be hosted on our own server instead — see the note in the site README.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
Where your data goes
Google LLC is based in the United States, so the font requests described above involve a transfer outside the European Economic Area. Google relies on the European Commission's EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses for these transfers.
Hosting is with OVHcloud (OVH SAS) on servers located in Poland, so that data stays within the European Economic Area.
How long we keep it
Server logs are kept for as long as our hosting provider retains them, commonly 30 days — check your host's documentation and put the exact figure here. We hold no analytics data. Emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your message and for up to 12 months afterwards.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or UK, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or hand it to another provider. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to our Data Protection Officer at dpo@free-games.social and we will respond within one month.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority. Ours is the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO — uodo.gov.pl), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.
Children
This site is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact dpo@free-games.social and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
